Money Mark Ramos Nishita is an artistic chameleon. He is an acclaimed musician whose work is instantly identifiable and a celebrated collaborator whose bespoke contributions create sonic spaces for other artists to sound more like themselves.Mark's solo work is evocative, elastic, unmistakable, with an easy inclusiveness and endless curiosity. His compositions embrace polished brill building songwriting, ramshackle genre pastiche, and seamlessly blend his influences in an experimental synthesis of musical loose ends. A long-time collaborator with the Beastie Boys and a leader of the Atomic Bomb Band, Mark has explored a broad range of musical languages and added his own unique ethos to the conversation. A partial list of his recording sessions include Beck, Iggy Pop, Nile Rodgers, the Rolling Stones, the Yeah Yeahs, Moby, Lee Perry, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Yoko Ono, David Byrne, the Mars Volta and the Lijadu Sisters. Not too shabby. Always sincere, always an enthusiast, always a collaborator, Mark is a relentless tinkerer, creator, musician and artist.
